Guest Access
Guests will enjoy the entire main-level home. The lower in-law suite can also be rented separately or together with the main house. Guests are welcome to explore the walking trails and relax on the decks overlooking the valley.
Parking & Vehicle Guidelines
- Free parking for up to 2 standard passenger vehicles
- Large or commercial vehicles require advance approval
- Restricted vehicles: heavy-duty trucks (¾-ton+), duallys, RVs, pop-ups, trailers, vans, or any vehicle with a 3rd axle (due to bridge limitations)
Other Things to Note
- Exterior security cameras are in place for safety
- No parties, events, or large gatherings
- No smoking or vaping indoors; please dispose of cigarette butts properly
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Keyless entry with auto-lock for added security
- Home is cleaned with non-toxic products and maintained to high standards

House Rules
🕒 Checking In & Out
- Check-in: after 4:00 PM (self check-in with keypad)
- Check-out: before 11:00 AM (no late check-outs)
👥 During Your Stay
- Max: 7 guests (must list all on your reservation)
- No pets (including ESAs)
- Courtesy hours: 10 PM – 8 AM
- No parties, events, or commercial photography
- No smoking or vaping indoors (fine: $500)
📌 House Rules
- The booking guest must also stay on the property (unless approved in advance).
- You’re responsible for the behavior of your group—please share rules with all guests.
- Upper level only is included in this rental. Noise carries—keep volume low after 10 PM.
- No illegal activity, drugs, candles, or incense.
- No curry cooking (strong lingering odor).
- Don’t move furniture or remove wall décor.
- Please lock doors and close all windows when leaving or if it rains.
- Respect the space—excessive mess will incur extra cleaning fees ($300+).
- Commercial vehicles, trailers, or 3rd axle vehicles require pre-approval and a parking fee.
- All guests must be listed on the reservation.
🚫 Pets Policy
- No pets of any kind. This includes ESAs.
- Bringing a pet will result in eviction, no refund, and a $250 cleaning fee.
🧹 Before You Leave (Check-out Checklist)
- Gather all used towels and place in the basket or on the washer.
- Run dishwasher with any used dishes.
- Remove all trash and food waste to bins under the deck by the driveway.
- Use separate bin for cans/bottles.
- Close blinds, turn off lights.
- Set thermostat: 72°F (summer) / 68°F (winter).
- Lock all doors and windows.

Our stay here was 100% satisfactory! Our host gave us clear instructions on how to find the place, and it was easy to get in. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our larger group to spend the night. We’d definitely stay again or recommend to others. This place is absolutely charming and Amy is an amazing host. We are locals who needed this place as a result of a plumbing emergency at home. We couldn’t be happier. It’s on several acres and it feels like a gorgeous woodsy park. If the weather is nice, dinner on the porch is wonderful. Restaurants and groceries are nearby.
One review mentioned the driveway so I was a little apprehensive. If you have a backup camera it’s a piece of cake and even if you didn’t, it would be a piece of cake. Don’t let that worry you.

Amy and Shane were excellent hosts. Very attentive in addressing a few hiccups we experienced. The driveway/turn off of the main road is tricky to find. Follow Amy’s instructions. UBER drivers had no problem finding. Walking distance to Publix, Walgreens, Aldi & Kroger. Quick $28-$30 uber trip to (& from) downtown Nashville during surge pricing. We would recommend this property/host to our friends & family.

I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. This was the perfect spot and a great home away from home feel. There’s a feeling of being in the country even though you’re right in town. Amy is the perfect host. I will definitely be back.

The Mill Creek Retreat guest suite was perfectly located for out of state grandparents attending their grandson’s high school graduation. It was private, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our two nights stay in our cozy accommodation.
